Taylor Lynn correctly predicted all 10 matches, yesterday, including upset winners Northern Iowa and Michigan. Northern Iowa swept Kansas State in three sets and Nebraska swept UMES in Lincoln, Neb. Michigan took a five-set thriller from Tennessee in Louisville, while the Cardinals advanced on their home court 3-1 after dropping the first set to Belmont. Elsewhere, after one of the most dominating sets in NCAA tournament history (25-4), Texas advanced past Colgate 3-0. Also, in Austin, Texas, Texas A&M took down NC State 3-1. Out west, Saint Mary's came back to beat San Diego State after trailing 2-0. Meanwhile, USC steamrolled Fairfield 3-0. In Ames, Iowa, Iowa State got a scare from IPFW, but managed to hold on 3-2 and North Carolina battled for a 3-1 victory over California.

Full Recap of 2012 Bracketology
The final bracketology release from Saturday night correctly named 63 of 64 (.984) selected teams. The only team named to the official NCAA bracket that was not on the Bracketology bracket was Santa Clara. However, Santa Clara was my "65th team" or first team out (see Last 4 In, First 4 Out). The team that I had in Santa Clara's spot was Arizona who would have been the eighth PAC-12 team. I correctly named 14 of 16 (.875) regional hosts including naming the top three teams correctly, nine of the top 10 teams within three spots of their actual seed, and naming 11 of 16 seeds within three spots of their actual seed. Some of the notable correctly predicted locations include Fairfield and San Diego State playing at USC, Miami (FL) playing in Gainesville, Binghamton playing at Penn State, Cleveland State and Wichita State playing at Kansas, Belmont playing Louisville, and Jackson State playing Stanford.

Daily Update: 11/8
Oklahoma beat Baylor in what was a key opportunity for the Bears to prove they belong in the NCAA Tournament. Northwestern dropped a match to Ohio State as the Wildcats try to get back into the top 64. Out west, Washington beat California on the road in five sets on national television. Kansas avenged their bad loss to Baylor with a road upset of in-state rival Kansas State. Idaho State got a road win at Weber State as the Bengals get closer to locking up the top seed for the Big Sky Tournament. Morehead State continued their winning ways even after already locking up the one seed in the OVC Tournament set to begin next week.
Tonight, Loyola Marymount has a chance to get back into the top 64 as they face Pepperdine in a key matchup. Washington tries to extend their three-match winning streak while Stanford tries to remain undefeated in the PAC-12 when the Huskies and the Cardinal square off on the Pac-12 Network. Illinois heads east to take on Big Ten leading Penn State.
